Football Expert Sutton Takes On Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's ten-match winning run came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the global break, but will the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?

"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus AI, fans and a variety of special visitors.

In the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

The singer's new album, the new release, is available on the weekend.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a talented soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a benefit game the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!

"I continue to love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or boy decides to play instead."

Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.

"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he said.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a while too.

"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.

In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.

This smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have lost their previous couple matches - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they do look strong again.

West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest manager.

Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?

I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's prediction: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2

AI's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their past four matches.

A family member advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.

The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.

They have not had much fortune on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at their stadium. Brentford will try to hit them on the break but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1

AI's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.

They have got plenty of quality in their squad but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.

As for Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.

Their performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.

The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.

However I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's home form, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.

Sutton's forecast: 1-0

The guest's choice: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have nonetheless been decent at home this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a hard fixture to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
