The Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to players forming strong views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which sounds very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Leo offers to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even notes how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to consistently think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
