Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Car Crash
The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The renowned industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
